SPORT
Golf is an individual type of sport. Players use a small ball and 14 clubs designed for striking at various distances, strengths, and trajectories. Along a pre-designated route, known as the "golf path," there are holes with a diameter of 11 cm dug into the ground. The player must sink the ball into each hole one by one (in turn), aiming to do so with the fewest possible strokes.
For each golf course and individual hole, the optimal number of strokes, called the "par," is determined in advance. The final result of a competition depends on how well a player adheres to this "par" and how few strokes they need to complete the golf path. Golf is the only Olympic sport without referees.
The most prestigious international team competition is the "Ryder Cup." The main individual competition, similar to tennis, consists of four Grand Slam tournaments: the US Masters, US Open, British Open, and US PGA Championship. The player who wins all four tournaments in a year will become the Grand Slam title holder.
A bet is placed to predict who will be the winner of the current tournament.
A bet is placed to predict which player will achieve the better ranking in the tournament. If the specified players tie for the same position, the bet will be voided.
